"Conviviality & Caring" - Our Motto!

Follow me on Twitter!

Once upon a time -and some of us do remember that far back <sigh> - books were bought locally after a LOT of searching. Many Masons believed, even well into the 1980s, that there were no books written about Freemasonry at all. (In point of fact, perhaps more books have been written on this subject than any other except religion!) With the advent of the Internet, the local bookstore vanished. While we still support our local stores and encourage you to patronize them (Betts Books is a great place to shop but even they have a Connecticut address!), we also know that many prefer to purchase books online.

Throughout our website, there will be links to Amazon.com for books about Freemasonry or other subjects that are appropriate. Should you click on one of these links and purchase a book, the Lodge will eventually receive a small commission. The price you pay is NOT increased in any way: Amazon pays these commissions in the hopes of selling more books.

All monies received in this manner go directly to our Charity Fund and our Treasurer's Reports each month will  show the amount, if any, received from this source. Any books appearing in these advertisements have been purchased, read, and well recommended by a member. In addition, when we're aware of a Mason who's written a book worth noting, it will be included in the ad rotation as well so you may even see the book of a lodge member there!

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact the Master promptly.
