"Conviviality & Caring" - Our Motto!

Would you like to become a part of this vibrant, new lodge and be a Charter Member of the first newly-formed Lodge in the past FIFTY YEARS in Maine?

The basics are simple: joining dues for 2010 are set at $25 which will include a copy of the Charter when it is eventually issued.  We expect to have the dues at $20/year thereafter but will await the recommendations of the Finance Committee before making that commitment.

Here's what you should know, though: while we would love to have a thousand members, just dues payers are not enough to sustain a vibrant and active lodge. You all know this! We want those members who will try to attend lodge regularly - in work clothes/street clothes - and HELP the lodge through working on the 'chores' that need to be done. Whether it's checking on a shut-in Brother, helping to arrange the speaker schedule, writing our newsletter, serving as a waiter during the meal, taking a part in the work of the Charity Committee or whatever: we want BROTHERS, not just dues checks!

There's a lot of enthusiasm right now: let's 'ride the wave' and see how good it can get! There's a membership petition here online: Just click on the menu item to your left. Fill it out and send it back to the Secretary as soon as you can.
