"Conviviality & Caring" - Our Motto!

Our Lodge's very first Stated Meeting was held on March 8, 2010 at the Bangor Masonic Center.

The meeting was preceded by a lunch served by Brothers Mansur and Chlalmers which was well attended by the members, their ladies, widows and visitors.

Immediately following the Lodge we had a special program of "Dressing the Lodge" our use this first time. This involved the presentation of gifts which have been made to the lodge by their donors, the items being received by the Master and put into place for use. Below is a short film of this program. We've been SO busy that we haven't had much chance to write a lot about the many things going on but we'll catch up after the flurry of the starting 'stuff'. Following the program, the lodge was tyled and opened in due and ancient form for the first time in what we hope will be the beginning of many, many more wonderful times together!

There are lots of things that will make Seminary Hill Daylight Lodge #220 different: the most obvious is, of course, our mid-day meeting time but beyond that, there will be things like our on-going and active charity endeavors, our emphasis on personal membership communication, our great meals, our commitment to programs at each of our meetings, and so much more. Officers will dress differently than you may have ever seen, support of our neighbor lodges will be stronger than might otherwise occur in a city, and we'll be involved in helping to make the new Bangor Masonic Hall a place that the community will cherish.

All this and so much more.... Will you be a part?
