"Conviviality & Caring" - Our Motto!
Follow me on Twitter! If you're a Mason who's in the Bangor area when we're meeting (see the box on the right), Maine's newest lodge would love to have you join us for lunch and for our meeting. Lunch is open to your guests as well and is $6 per person. It's allways a great meal - if we do say so! (Our own members take turns providing our lunch so they suffer the consequences if it's not up to our standards.) We generally have a speaker during our luncheon and the Ladies of Seminary Hill Daylight Lodge (any female who is present is welcome) work on projects of interest to them while the Masons meet.
At 1:00pm, Masons head to the lodge room where we open in full form. Most of our meetings havve a program of interest and education. True to our motto, you'll find our meetings are filled with conviviality and caring. We plan to end at 1:45pm but - as with almost every Masonic meeting you've ever attended - sometimes it goes a bit longer. There's no 'dress code': some members come directly from their job sites and return afterwards so don't be concerned with 'not having a tie' or whatever.
Like every other Masonic lodge, you don't need to be a member to attend - but we hope you'll enjoy it so much you'll want to come back again and again and become a part of our lodge. So do join us. We'd love to extend the hand of friendship and fraternity to you.
