In the Secretary's spare time <feel free to laugh now!>, work is being done on the Member's Handbook. If you haven't filled out an information form, you can download one and either send it to me or drop it on the Secretary's desk at the next meeting. If you haven't had your picture taken, let's get together at the end of any meeting for just a minute. If you'd rather send one along, click on the link at the bottom of the page to e-mail it to me. We can also scan photographs and will return them promptly.

We hope this endeavor will enhance our conviviality and caring by making sure everyone recognizes everyone else and feels comfortable speaking with them. Want something changed? Scribble it out in an e-mail or on a piece of paper and it'll be taken care of.

Summertime and there might be more time to get this done. Whee!

I keep wondering if I should be heading to see the nice folks at Acadia Hospital. Who on earth volunteers for the job of Secretary?

Oh, you think it might be fun? GREAT! Let me know and the chair is yours. Meanwhile, I'll try to keep everyone posted on everything as quickly and as completely as possible. Bear with me: this is a position I've never held in a Lodge before!

If you're looking to affiliate with us, there's an application right here online. Print out a few extra and pass them around to others in your lodge.

If there's ANYTHING you think I/we've missed, speak right up. Don't mutter to others: tell US - and we'll do what we can to make things right. We do CARE!

Fraternally,

Ed King
